The short version: the only personal data Vessik asks you for is an email address, and only if you choose to give it. Holdings you ask us to score are sent to our scoring service without your name attached, are never stored, and are never linked to you or to your email address.

1. Who we are

Vessik is operated by Aurelian Stewardship Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, which is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@vessik.io.

2. What we collect

• Your email address, if you submit it to request early access or to be told when your figure moves. Nothing else on those forms is required.
• Campaign attribution — the utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign values present in the link you arrived on, so we know which channel brought you. These are stored in your browser for the session and submitted alongside your email address if you sign up.
• Server logs kept by our hosting provider in the ordinary course of serving the site: IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent. These are used for security and reliability, not for profiling.

3. What happens to the holdings you enter

The headline figure at the top of the page — the one you get by pressing “how many bets do I have?” — is worked out entirely on your own device. Nothing is sent anywhere to produce it.

The full breakdown is different, and this is the part worth reading. To produce it we send the holdings and their proportions to our own scoring service, which prices them and runs the analysis you see. That request carries no name, no email address and no account: it is not linked to you, and if you later give us your email address it is not linked to that either. The holdings are held only for the moment it takes to score them, and are not written to any database. A short-lived in-memory cache lets an identical repeat request reuse the same answer.

Resolving the names you type into real instruments uses Microsoft Azure OpenAI as our processor, under terms that do not permit your input to be used to train models.

The share card the diagnostic can produce deliberately carries no holding, figure or weight of yours. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this site, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

4. Why we may use it, and on what basis

• To contact you about early access — on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form. You may withdraw it at any time.
• To understand which channels bring people to the site — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the service, using data that is already tied to a sign-up you chose to make.
• To keep the site available and secure — on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating it safely.

5. Who processes it for us

Email sign-ups are handled by Loops (Loops Inc.), our email service provider. Holdings sent for scoring are resolved using Microsoft Azure OpenAI. The site and the scoring service are served from Google Cloud infrastructure. All three act as our processors and are bound to process data only on our instructions. Where a provider transfers data outside the UK, it is done under the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law.

6. How long we keep it

Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and for no longer than two years after your last interaction with us. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Attribution values live in your browser's session storage and are cleared when you close the tab.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our use of it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe. To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@vessik.io and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes affecting people who have already signed up will be sent by email.
